Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
When you come to Jesus and ask Him to come into your life and make you a child of His, He does what you ask Him to. You have now become His child. The Holy Spirit, who caused you to come to the Lord in the first place, next bears witness with your spirit that you are a child of God. Thoughts that God rejected you, or you are not a child of His, doesn’t come from God, and must be resisted.
The enemy may remind you of your past, telling you that you were very bad, but remind him of what the Word says. Isaiah 43:25 tells you, “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins.”
Start rejoicing that you have been made a child of God, and His divine protection is over you. Expect the Lord to give you guidance, and to direct you all day.
